The Problem
The problem that this app aims to solve is the difficulty that the Irish living and traveling abroad have in accessing live GAA activity and results. Living in NYC, it is a great source of frustration for me any time I try to keep up with live games. I end up going between social media and news apps - it is not a streamlined or efficient experience.
In addition, the current GAAGo service provided for games is overpriced and often stops working. I decided to design an app that I and many Irish who live abroad are desperate for so we can keep up to date with our nation's sport wherever we are.
I wanted to create an easy-to-use app with everything in one place - stats about teams and players, live scores and a built-in radio to broadcast live games.
